Ellis in NY, NEW ENGLAND, on the Radio, In the VIDEOS
Hey y'all!
It's great to have my new recording, 'Essentials' out! I am very happy with
how it looks and how it sounds=2E Please spread it around to friends and family, they are the best distribution path my music can find! This has been fifteen years in the making!
I am hitting New York and New England in the next few days traveling with bundles of the new cd and t-shirts=2E
The shows in the Midwest have been incredible, thanks for supporting them, and coming to hear Antje Duvekot and myself=2E I have written a new blog entry about the dates in Chicago, Dayton, Ann Arbor, and Grand Rapids at the blog at http://www=2Eellispaul=2Ecom
Also, I have released a video of "Rattle My Cage" performed live at Poor Richard's Pub in Cleveland at http://www=2Emyspace=2Ecom/ellispaul
As most of you know, Club Passim in Boston was where I first stepped on stage and decided I could do this professionally despite what my better senses were telling me=2E It's been an important launching pad for what seems to be every acoustic songwriters career in the last five decades=2E=2E=2E 49 years and they're still going strong!
This Sunday night, October 29th, I am performing a fundraiser for Club Passim, in Massachusetts=2E=2E=2E It's $100 a ticket in a beautiful home in Newton=2E This is expensive, I realize, but the charity benefits the most important folk venue in the free world=2E And the non free world=2E Club Passim is a non profit organization with a mission statement for educating, entertaining, and encouraging the masses of music fans in the Boston area=2E Earlier that day Im putting on a songwriting workshop at the club=2E I am limiting it to 20 participants,so if you are interested, go to www=2EClubPassim=2Eorg for details=2E
Here is the information on Sunday night's benefit:
Sunday, October 29th
Doors Open at 6:30
Light food and drink will be served
I will play 2 sets with songs from my new release "Essentials"
Tickets are $100 per person with limited seating available=2E
Reserve your seat by calling Jim Ricciuti, Passim Center Director of
Development, at 617-491-2382 information on the venue will be provided upon purchase=2E
RADIO STATIONS=2E=2E=2E
Radio and Internet airplay are always crucial for the success of any project=2E
Here are some stations that have played me in the past, please give them a call if you are interested in hearing a song on the air=2E
I suggest "Home" if you are in a quiet mood, "Sweet Mistakes" if you want to make some noise=2E=2E=2E
And thanks for listening, y'all--
