Bringing my storyteller's suitcase to a town near you.....

Bringing my storytellers suitcase to a town near you.....

From a recent private show in Wisconsin.

Hello my friends—

All this fall I will be cross-crossing the country in my car with CDs, books, posters, pens, and guitars, the same way Elvis and Hank Williams did it in 1950s. Point to point, place to place.

Last week I drove from Virginia for several shows in Wisconsin and I am currently ambling my way south down to Texas for the week! I’m playing Tomball tomorrow (Wednesday), Dallas (Friday), and Houston(Saturday)....then it's east to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and finally I'll be heading north for several shows in New England.

I have a lot of tasks for this job. I write music, perform it, produce and manufacture it then distribute it, perform it and sell it. Then repeat.

However, sometimes it seems I spend more hours driving. Or traveling via an airplane. But that’s cool too! I love seeing the country, it’s one of the best perks of this job. Yesterday I crossed the Mississippi River nto Minnesota where it so breathtaking and serene. You can almost picture what it looked like 1,000 years ago.

On Thursday night Sept 12th, I will be doing my final show on Concert Window. The company is closing its business on September 16. I’ve had an incredibly fun time doing shows from home and from venues on this platform, and I am sad to see them go. But Thursday night - 7pm eastern time - will be a celebration! And a goodbye to Concert Window. I hope you'll join me and take advantage of some new and different tip rewards that I'll be offering. If you know of any options for a new platform for ticketed shows online let me know!

I am currently on the National Tour for The Storyteller’s Suitcase. Over the next year I will try to touch all of my regular haunts across the country spreading these new songs and stories. In the next few weeks I will cross the Golden Gate, stare up at the white wash of the Hollywood sign, walk across the cobblestones in Harvard Square, and dip my toes in the Gulf of Mexico! Come along for the ride!

The Storyteller’s Suitcase has been one of the most played folk albums of the summer, it went to #1 on the Amazon sales chart for folk and has been getting rave reviews— see the review below from my weekend show in Madison!
