What would life be like without friends? Or without this incredible folk music scene we have coast to coast! In the past few days, I’ve watched so proudly as my friend Vance Gilbert was being supported with a cancer fight donation campaign that raised over $100,000 for his expenses and lost wages. I’m spending the summer visiting my friends all overr the world, and I am gonna soak them while recognizing how swiftly the current moves us.
I am grateful to have lots of wild, engine burning shows and special events coming up this summer. I would love to see you there! They crisscross the planet. Maybe you should too?
Next week, I have two New England area shows in Maine and Massachusetts.
Later in the year, there is a solo return to Club Passim, The Firehouse in Newburyport, and the Hackmatack Playhouse in Maine in August. There are Oklahoma shows in July. Festivals! There is even an upcoming vacation adventure I lead to Norway/Amsterdam on a cruise coming in June. Summer solstice. The midnight sun. The fjords. The red light district. All with friends. Dammit. I love you people.

Have you missed out on one of my earlier cruises? Trips to Ireland, Monhegan Island, or Vermont? I just turned sixty and I realize there is much of the world I STILL want to see. So I have decided that I will be leading annual vacation tours to bucket list destinations! Please consider this one! It will be incredible.
