On the Road Again and Across the Pond!
Back on Stage!
Hello My Friends—
I hope you all had a moment with the moon and the sun that blinded you with wonder. What an oddly beautiful thing—the math of it, the science of it, the beauty of it. I ordered the glasses and Laurie and I climbed to our rooftop deck here in Crozet, VA. The clouds broke at just the right moment. I was surprised by the rush of comfort I felt in taking my mind off the world we live in for a few minutes. We could all use a break :)

MY VIKING HANDS ARE READY TO PLAY!
I am finally packing up the guitars and suitcases for an extensive run of shows in April and May, including IRELAND! I have been home for six weeks, healing up from hand surgery. Dupuytren’s Contracture is a genetic variant I carry from my Viking ancestors, which curled my fingers into my palm. Surgery went well and my fingers are ready for action on the guitar neck once again! In the next two months my instruments and I will be traveling to Ireland, TX, OK, New England, VA and more, including this weekend’s shows in Long Island, West Hartford, CT and New Hope, PA—see below. I’m still spreading the word on the new album, 55, as well as singing some of the older songs along the way. My friend Don Conoscenti will be joining me in TX and OK for a run of shows! It’s rare for Don to travel these days, and I’m really excited for some time with him. We have an open night on Friday May 17th—if you’d like to host us, let us know! Keep an eye on Facebook for running commentary as the tour unfolds.

A Bucket List. I’ve got one. Do you? I’ve decided it’s time to knock off a few items. And I had a great idea—why not drop two dreams in one bucket? How about Amsterdam? I’ve never been. The canals. The Van Gogh Museum. The Red Light District and the cannabis lounges! Bicycles and boats and the Anne Frank Museum. History. Art. And then—Norway. The fjords. The waterfalls tumbling down thousand-foot cliffs. The little red-painted villages standing tall against the coastline and the vast Atlantic ocean and sky. The northern lights. The aurora borealis. The food, the fish, and again—the fjords! Come with me! Join me and a few of my musical friends on a trip of a lifetime. We are taking a cruise from Amsterdam to Norway! June 16-23, 2025. Half the cabins are already sold, to folks who’ve cruised with me before. So don’t wait ... I can’t wait! Special guests will be announced soon.
