Sorry so long, sorry so few.....
It was a beautiful day for a drive across the state of Pennsylvania to see Ellis Paul perform at the lovely Nazareth Center for the Arts. I got to hear several new songs from the soon-to-be-released Chasing Beauty as well as some older favorites. It was a very enthusiastic crowd who especially showed their enthusiasm on the sing-a-longs: Kick Out the Lights and The World Ain't Slowing Down. Someone requested the new song Wasted, so that was a nice surprise too. Ellis lamented the loss of vehicle CD players and had a record player on stage with him....which he used to play a bit of The Beatles White Album. Turns out that Chasing Beauty will also be released on vinyl!
Hope to see some of you out on the Ellis trail....
